Jio Platforms IPO allotment today: how to check status on KFin, BSE and NSE; listing set for 28 October
Share allotment for the Rs 30,213-crore Jio Platforms IPO, subscribed 22.19 times, is expected to be finalised on Monday, 26 October, with listing on BSE and NSE likely on Wednesday.

Investors who bid in the Jio Platforms initial public offering are expected to learn on Monday, 26 October, whether they have received shares. The basis of allotment for the Reliance Industries subsidiary’s issue is likely to be finalised today, according to reports by Business Today and Organiser, after the three-day bidding window closed on Friday, 23 October.
The Daily Rostrum had reported on the offer before it opened. The new development is that bidding is over, the demand figures are in, and the allotment process has begun.
The issue price has been fixed at Rs 1,119 per share, the upper end of the price band, Business Today reported. The offer is worth about Rs 30,213 crore and consists entirely of fresh shares with a face value of Rs 10 each. Before the issue opened to the public, the company raised Rs 8,110 crore from anchor investors at the same price.
Subscription: 22 times overall, QIBs lead
Citing BSE data, both outlets put overall subscription at 22.19 times. Bids were received for about 438 crore shares against roughly 19.75 crore shares on offer.
Qualified institutional buyers drove demand, bidding for 70.55 times the shares set aside for them. Non-institutional investors subscribed 14 times. The retail portion was taken up 2.72 times, so many small investors are likely to miss out on allotment.
Business Today reported that the reserved quota for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders was subscribed 7.60 times and the employee portion 2.03 times. According to the publication, the issue drew bids worth about Rs 4.90 lakh crore and more than 1.35 crore applications. It said the bid value was higher than that for LG Electronics India’s issue.
Organiser reported that Rs 27,500 crore from the fresh issue will be used to repay borrowings of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the company’s wholly owned telecom arm.
How to check your allotment status
KFin Technologies is the registrar to the issue. Applicants can check their status in three ways once the allotment data goes live.
- KFin Technologies: Visit the registrar’s IPO status portal, select Jio Platforms from the list, choose to search by PAN, application number or demat client ID, enter the details and submit.
- BSE: On BSE’s application status page, select the issue type as Equity, choose Jio Platforms Limited, enter your PAN or application number, complete the captcha and submit.
- NSE: On NSE’s IPO bid verification page, choose the equity IPO option, select Jio Platforms, and enter your PAN or application details.
Investors should note that the company name may appear on these portals only after the registrar uploads allotment details, so a blank result early in the day does not necessarily mean the bid failed.
Refunds, demat credit and listing
Refunds to unsuccessful applicants are expected to begin on Tuesday, 27 October. Shares should be credited to the demat accounts of successful bidders the same day. The stock is expected to list on BSE and NSE on Wednesday, 28 October. Organiser cautioned that these dates could change based on announcements from the company, the exchanges or the registrar.
In the unofficial grey market, Jio Platforms shares were quoted at a premium of about Rs 247 over the issue price, according to Business Today. That would suggest a listing gain of around 22%. Grey market premiums are unregulated and often change sharply before listing, and they are not a reliable guide to actual listing prices.
For context, Business Today reported that Jio Platforms posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 30,064 crore on revenue of Rs 1.47 lakh crore in 2025-26.
