Farmers in Andhra Pradesh are expected to receive ₹6,000 each as the second instalment of this year’s Annadata Sukhibhava and PM-Kisan support, with the state government preparing to release the money as a Dasara gift, Telugu news outlets reported on 9 October. No official release date had been announced in those reports.

According to 10TV, the state government has speeded up the process to credit the second instalment to eligible farmers’ bank accounts. TV9 Telugu and Vaartha described the release as expected around Dasara, without giving a date.

How the ₹6,000 is made up

  • PM-Kisan (Centre): ₹2,000
  • Annadata Sukhibhava (state): ₹4,000
  • Total this instalment: ₹6,000 per eligible farmer family, credited directly to bank accounts

TV9 Telugu and Vaartha reported that farmers who did not receive the 23rd PM-Kisan instalment will get that amount along with this release.

The yearly support

Under the two schemes together, each eligible farmer family is meant to receive ₹20,000 a year: ₹6,000 from the Centre under PM-Kisan and ₹14,000 from the state under Annadata Sukhibhava, paid in three instalments, according to all three outlets.

For 2026-27, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu released the first instalment on 20 June, when each eligible family received ₹7,000, 10TV and TV9 Telugu reported.

What farmers need to do

Officials have made clear that the money will reach only farmers who meet three conditions, 10TV reported:

  • Aadhaar linked to their bank account
  • e-KYC completed
  • Land records verified, with details such as survey number and district registered on the PM-Kisan portal

Why it matters

TV9 Telugu reported that the government believes paying ₹6,000 during the Dasara festival will help farmers with farm work and family needs.

Farmers should watch for an official announcement from the state agriculture department on the exact date and check their status on the PM-Kisan portal.
