Bigg Boss 20: TV actor Manish Goel enters as first wildcard; Salman Khan questions Scout OP

Television actor Manish Goel has entered Bigg Boss 20 as the season’s first wildcard contestant. Host Salman Khan introduced him on stage during the Saturday “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode, according to The Daily Jagran and OTV (Odisha TV).

A prank before the reveal

Salman Khan and Goel first let the housemates believe Goel had come to promote an upcoming project, The Daily Jagran reported. He then revealed that he was joining the house as a contestant.

Goel described housemate Mahhi Vij as “calculative” in her approach to the game, both outlets reported. The Daily Jagran said Vij was delighted to see him, as the two have known each other for a long time.

Who is Manish Goel

According to The Daily Jagran, Goel has acted in several television serials and two films:

• TV: Anupamaa, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Bhabhi, Devi, Bhagyalakshmi, Ayushman Bhava, Tantra and Hamari Wali Good News
• Films: Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein, which he also worked on as a writer, and Hanak
• Reality TV: he and his wife, Poonam Narula, were runners-up in the first season of Nach Baliye

Salman Khan questions Scout OP

In the same episode, Salman Khan confronted contestant Scout OP over his treatment of Qazi Touqeer, who had been unwell during the week, OTV reported. The row began when Scout stopped Love Gill from taking food to Qazi and served it himself. Salman asked why he had stepped in given his earlier differences with Qazi, OTV said. Scout said his actions were genuine and not for the cameras. Qazi broke down during the discussion.

Second wildcard expected

The Daily Jagran said promos hint at social media influencer Nakul Dhull, known as Mitthu Don, as a second wildcard, and OTV also linked him to a possible entry. This had not been confirmed at the time of writing. OTV noted that Dhull has recently faced criticism over viral videos containing remarks about women.
