Nokia 2360 Flip Launched: Dual Screens, SOS Button and Remote “Family Assist” Controls for Seniors and Kids
HMD's new feature phone lets relatives manage contacts, volume and reminders remotely. It runs Series 30+, sticks to 2G and has a removable 1,450mAh battery.

HMD Global has added a new member to its Nokia flip-phone line-up. The Nokia 2360 Flip is a basic feature phone built around safety and simplicity, and its headline addition is a tool that lets family members look after the phone from a distance.
Family Assist and SOS
The phone’s Family Assist feature allows a relative to add contacts, change the volume, set reminders and manage other settings remotely, which makes it aimed squarely at older users and children who may struggle with menus. A dedicated SOS button on the back sends an alert to a pre-set emergency contact with a single press.
Design and display
The handset keeps the familiar clamshell design. Inside is a 2.8-inch QVGA (320×240) screen, and the lid carries a smaller 1.77-inch display for checking the time and incoming calls without opening the phone. It will come in Charcoal, Teal and Burgundy Red.

Price and India availability
HMD has not yet announced the phone’s price, and there is no confirmation on whether or when it will reach India. The lack of 4G is the biggest catch for Indian buyers, as operators have been shrinking their 2G networks.
“Nokia 2360 flip phone” drew more than 20,000 searches in India on Google Trends over the past day.
