The former IndiGo and Kotak Mahindra Bank HR chief cited personal commitments. His last working day was 31 October, and the company has not named a successor.

Sukhjit S. Pasricha, president and head of human resources at Jindal Steel, has resigned roughly three months after taking charge. The company disclosed the exit to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, saying his last working day was 31 October 2026.
Pasricha cited personal commitments as the reason for leaving. His appointment had been announced on 23 July 2026. The disclosure does not name an interim or permanent replacement.
A long HR career
Pasricha is one of the better-known HR leaders in Indian business. Before Jindal Steel, he served as group chief human resources officer at IndiGo for nearly four years, in his second stint at the airline; he had earlier headed HR and administration there between 2013 and 2018. He was group CHRO and president of HR at Kotak Mahindra Bank from 2019 to 2022 and has also led HR and administration at Bajaj Finance.
He spent about 13 years with the Bharti Airtel group across India and Africa, and began his career with stints at Spice Communications and the Vardhman Group.
