Friday, 6 November, is the scheduled last date for graduates to apply for inclusion in the fresh electoral rolls of two Telangana Legislative Council constituencies: Warangal–Khammam–Nalgonda Graduates’ and Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad Graduates’.

The Election Commission has ordered the rolls for both seats to be prepared afresh (de novo), so eligible graduates should not assume an old registration carries over.

Missed today? You can still apply later

To clear up confusion, Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy said Form 18 applications will also be accepted:

  • up to 6 November 2026;
  • during the claims-and-objections period, from 25 November to 10 December 2026; and
  • after final publication of the rolls, from 30 December 2026 until the last date for filing nominations.

How to apply

  • Online: through the Telangana CEO website, ceotelangana.nic.in.
  • In person: submit Form 18 to the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant ERO or designated officers.
  • Attach the required documents and certificates.

Key dates

  • 25 November: draft electoral rolls published
  • 25 November – 10 December: claims and objections
  • 30 December: final rolls published
  • March 2027: biennial election for the two seats (date yet to be announced)

The CEO’s clarification means those who miss Friday’s date will not be shut out entirely, though applying early is the safest course.
