India signed off from the Hong Kong Sixes 2026 with a win on Sunday, beating Bangladesh by five wickets in the play-off for 11th place at Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok.

India won the toss and chose to bowl. Bangladesh posted a competitive 116 for 5 in their six overs, built almost entirely around an 18-ball 62 from Abu Hider. Habibur Sohan added a quick 18 from six balls. Krunal Pandya was the pick of the Indian bowlers with three wickets for 25 in his two overs and was later named Player of the Match.

The chase was settled by Shashank Singh, who reached 50 in just 15 balls. Rahul Tripathi chipped in with 32 off 12 as India got to 117 in the sixth over.

The play-off came after a tough group stage for India, who were drawn alongside Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates in Group C. On Saturday the UAE beat India by six wickets. The tournament, played from 30 October to 1 November with 12 teams, concludes with the Cup, Plate and Bowl finals later on Sunday.
